The cornerstone piece of the Seattle Seahawks’ only Super Bowl title in 2013 is moving to the Mile-High City.

In addition to that, the Broncos will also receive a fourth-round draft pick as Seattle will look to retool and build towards the future.

According to reports, the Seahawks will get a pair of first and second-round selections in the NFL draft, plus a fifth-round choice, along with quarterback Drew Lock, defensive tackle Shelby Harris and tight end Noah Fant.

Adding him to the Broncos will be a massive upgrade for that franchise, who have been searching for someone behind center since the retirement of Peyton Manning, who led them to a world title in the 2015 season.

Along with leading the Emerald City to back-to-back Super Bowl appearances, Wilson also holds virtually every QB record for that franchise, including the highest career passer rating (minimum 500 attempts) at 101.7, most career rushing yards by a Seahawks quarterback (3,993) and most career touchdown passes (227).

Wilson looked great in his first Super Bowl appearance, going 18 for 25 and 206 yards through the air, plus two touchdowns as Seattle rolled to a comfortable 43-8 victory.

Last season was an up-and-down campaign for the 33-year-old pivot who started the year hot before an injury to his finger caused him to miss the first games of his NFL career.

When he returned late in the season, Wilson and Seattle looked scintillating, putting up 51 points in a victory over the Detroit Lions (51-29) and throwing three TD passes in his final game as a Seahawk in a 38-30 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

In his last game of 2021, Wilson surpassed Hall of Famer Peyton Manning for most QB wins (112) in a player’s first 10 seasons in the league since at least 1950 (including the playoffs).

The trade is pending a physical, plus Wilson waiving his no-trade clause, and it cannot be made official until the new league year begins on March 16.
