Reunited and it feels so good.
That’s what Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr must be thinking with the news that his club has acquired wide receiver Devante Adams in a blockbuster deal with the Green Bay Packers.

The two-time all-pro receiver is coming off a fantastic regular season in which he made 123 receptions for 1553 yards and 11 touchdowns, helping his team to the NFC North title with a record of 13-4.
Those numbers were second only to the Rams Cooper Kupp.
Adams and Carr played together at Fresno State, where the 6’1” 215-pound receiver was named a second-team All-American in 2013 before being drafted the following year in the second round by the Packers.
As part of the deal, Green Bay will receive two prime 2022 draft picks, including the Raiders' first-round selection next month, with Las Vegas currently slated to select at number 22.
Reports indicate that Adams will sign a five-year deal to play on the strip for a team that made the playoffs last year for the first time since 2016, losing in the Wild Card Round to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Adams led the league in receiving touchdowns in 2020 with 14.
In 116 career games played in “Packerland”, the 29-year-old caught 669 passes for 8,121 yards and 73 touchdowns and was named to the Pro Bowl five times.
Earlier this month, the native of Redwood City, California said that he would not play for Green Bay under the franchise tag in 2022.
This news comes just a couple of days after Adams reportedly turned down a massive contract extension to stay with the Cheeseheads reportedly for $23 million annually.
