The CFL and the CFLPA have come to an understanding of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) at long last.

This new twist comes just days after a proposal from the league was rejected by players on Monday, despite being advised by their union to accept the deal.
As part of the new proposal, there will be a rolling ratio, where two Nationalized Americans can play up to 49% of snaps in 2023 with the CFL being allowed to increase that amount to three the following year if they think is working.
Another part of the new deal will include a $1.25 million ratification bonus.
Before it is made official, however, the CFL board of governors needs to officially approve the terms of the contract themselves.
